I became such a proposal last night after watching the debut of Polish director, Paul Hall. Mr. Paul gives us 13 months in the life of an ordinary family, which many in Poland. Previewing their everyday starting from an unusual event - the two sons killed his mother. Every scene is going back for another few months. Show the important and less important events, which experienced members of this family. We can understand each character, see her reaction, the nature, needs and problems.

I had the impression that at some point in this journey into the past, the director shows us a more specific cause, which led the two young people to matkobójstwa. I was waiting for an explanation of this cruel crime - it could hurt their mother or father, or is there some other reason, which did not fell into.

But I got no explanation and I was slightly annoyed when the movie ended. Zastawiałam up, plugged the fragments, because I hoped that the explanation is so much that I do not notice. And suddenly dawned on me that's the point here is that there always exists only one reason for the tragedy. When we ask ourselves the question: "whether it was possible to prevent it?" to respond, we would know the theme, which led to Arthur - the younger son - and many other side quests.

Maybe Arthur had mental problems, may experience some harm in childhood, and perhaps that damage suffered by his life, and she slowly evolved and led to a big, growing angry.

Paul Hall very clearly presented the slow decline of the family:

FATHER - A soldier who returned from the war. They say that war changes people, but we do not know what was before. Since we know where it is becoming more closed, silent alienated. Family sees his body but the soul and thoughts are elsewhere. At the end of the house literally disappears.

MOTHER - elegant woman, always busy with work or tired, colorless, melancholy. Alone bears the problems of everyday life and can not deal with them. Each day becomes more and more sad and scared.
